I was once bereft of interest in humanity
Which every soul seemed touched by the light of celestial grace
The kind of revelation amplified by the understanding 
That a soul inside a mortal carcass is a filthy stealth

Beauty of the flesh puts ones above the others
Our hearts are deaf to the words from the mouths of the vile
The physical attraction it determines our attitude
Forsaking the souls of the wretched for the fate to be defied

Cause in a world where every truth is linked to a selfish reason
Where there is no measure that could reach the absolute
Where goodness for the one men causes others men perdition
Relying on a spirit's grandeur doesn't seem astute

Cause if souls could exist - the offsprings of one father
Then shouldn't we feel unity - the one we never felt?
But dark is our path towards the murderous insanity
And there's no place more gruesome than our instant living hell

Once I fell in love with the eyes, 
Eyes painted pure onyx and filled with stardust
But now these eyes are the worm-swarming holes
Starring at the coffin as the death bell tolls
And every time again seeking for a soul
I found a dying body with no soul at all
Or may be I just fear the invisible clock
Counting down hours to a final one?

Mortal is the age and infinite the sorrow
Tears of the innocent flow with the autumn rain
Corpses of new born nutriate the soil
While mutilated victims of wars suffer years of the pain

Thousand year old trees witness crushes of the empires
Million year old rocks watch the trees as they grow and fall
The ashes we become as the world sets itself on fire
Won't ever tell our descendants of lives we had before
