With a musical journey spanning two decades, Gary Dodds is a Belfast-based DJ and producer deeply rooted in the city's eclectic music scene. His passion for music has led him on a diverse sonic exploration, encompassing genres like house, techno, breaks, drum and bass, and the soothing realms of chillout.

A core member of the Manhattan Project collective, Doddz contributes to a weekly radio show on River Radio, sharing carefully curated sounds that resonate with the countries nightlife.

 

My passion for house music started from an early age from first having vinyl decks as a teenager in the late 90s. Have always loved the progressive house genre from aspiring djs such as the likes of sasha, Digweed, Anthony papa, dave seaman and quivver. Have recently started djing again in the new era of digital which has took some getting used to, and no I don't use the sync button which you can probly tell sometimes in my sets 😂😂 anyhow

Originally from Durham, but based in the North West for the last 27 years, Dean made his mark on the house scene holding down a residency at Via Fossa in Manchester between 2000 and 2011, whilst also doing the same for Paul Taylor's club classic night, Retro, between 2005 and 2007 where he would play to crowds in the hundreds. Dean also did regular guest spots at Spirit and the iconic Manto's Breakfast Bar in Manchester's gay village.

Dean has played bars and clubs up and down the country, as well as Pacha in Ibiza. His mixes range from ambient/downtempo music, funky house, melodic and deep house through to progressive and breaks.
