We begin 2023 as we intend to go on - highlighting underrated talent that stand ready to make a big impact! From slick minimal pieces to full bodied sub-shaking weapons, it's been fascinating to witness the growth of 7Kidz's sound over recent years. The Belgian producer kicks off his year with a release on the equally impressive and underrated Too Much Collective. Following a heavyweight project from Jamzigg in November and a track from n/less, the label continues to give a platform to those looking to rise the ranks of the genre and 7Kidz grabs the bull by the horns with this one by producing a killer no skips EP. However out of the four tracks on TMC012, 'Dirty Job' particularly hits the spot for me, which is why I have the pleasure of presenting it in full today!

Nomine Sound is happy to announce the soon-to-be-released "The Ghost of Rot EP," showcasing the incredibly talented Gnasha. Hailing from Leeds and a standout in the dubstep arena, Gnasha brings her unmistakable "STINKY 'n' CHUNKY" vibes with an ethnic twist here and there to this eagerly awaited EP. Far from being a newcomer, Gnasha boasts a decade of music production prowess and has been featured on radio stations such as Rinse.fm and Swu.fm. Her hefty performances at festivals like Rampage Open Air and Boomtown further cement her status as a don that is rising more an more. Among her accolades are a nomination for the 2020 Duploc Dubstep Awards and a chart-topping debut EP on Juno Download. This forthcoming EP is set to mark yet another high point in the swiftly growing career of Gnasha.

Juno Vinyl - "One of Tempa's most consistent and exciting artists to join the label roster in recent years, Nomine's fusions defy categorisation. We've watched his murky world unravel over the course of EPs... But nothing could compare us for the complex web he's weaved on his debut album. The off-beat percussive textured groove of "84600", the pitched drum riff on "Stickman" and the slinky-but-snakelike rhythm on "Menacer" are just three of the eight delights on offer here. Tempa are having a fine year and Inside Nomine may be their crowning glory of 2015."

Altogether deeper and more imaginative than his -admittedly brilliant - singles, Inside Nomine makes great use of the album format, delivering a slowly evolving set of tracks that blends dubstep essentials - heavy bass, punishing rhythms, paranoid and spooky textures - with African-influenced percussion, hazy vocals, bubbling electronics and plenty of strange spoken word vocal samples. As a result, it's an impressive set that marks Nomine out as one of dubstep's greatest contemporary talents.
