Soulfire Hi-Fi existiert als Reggae-Soundsystem seit Herbst 1998 und hat sich in dieser Zeit einen Ruf weit über die Grenzen der Landeshauptstadt Kiel hinaus erspielt. Buzz, Benni und Mason an der Selector Front sowie Shaheen am Mikrofon halten die Soulfire Flamme am Brennen und gießen mächtig Öl ins Feuer. An anfallenden Produktions-Prozessen schraubt Engineer Muratti im soundeigenen Riddim Yard Studio, das sowohl für Soulfire Hi-Fi Eigenproduktionen als auch für Dubplate Sessions mit durchreisenden Artists genutzt wird.
Das Soulfire Hi-Fi Konzept: Musikalisch gibt es einen erfrischenden Mix aus aktuellsten Dancehall und Conscious Reggae Tunes, dazu klassisches Ska/Rocksteady/Roots Material und Soulfire Hi-Fi Dubplate Specials, abgeschmeckt mit jeweils einer Prise Soca, Hip-Hop und Drum´n´ Bass; neben der üblichen Interaktion mit dem Publikum – der Massive -  werden auch von Deejay Shaheen selbstgeschriebene Songs präsentiert.
Nach ereignisreichen Jahren in den Reggae- und Dancehall-Clubs der Republik und des angrenzenden Auslands, unzähligen Support-Shows für renommierte Artists, Soundclash Teilnahmen, Juggling-Sessions mit quasi allen relevanten Soundsystems Deutschlands, der alljährlichen Betreuung der Reggae-Stage auf dem kultigen Wilwarin Festival in Ellerdorf/ Warder und des Aufbaus der heimatlichen Kieler Szene nahm Soulfire Hi-Fi Anlauf für den nächsten logischen Schritt: Mit dem „The Calling“ und dem „Chupacabra“ Riddim stehen in Eigenregie produzierte Selections in den bekannten Download Portalen bereit; unter den Veröffentlichungen befinden sich sowohl aufstrebende – Flixx´n´Hooch, Cookie the Herbalist, U-Cee, Darrio – als auch etablierte Artists wie Konshens, Promoe, Million Styles, Burro Banton, General Levy, Ronny Trettman und Ranking Smo. Gesungen, gerappt und getoastet wird sowohl deutsch- als auch englischsprachig, und natürlich gibt es auch Songs im jamaikanischen Patois.
AND THE BEAT GOES ON: Reggae Deutschland wird weiterhin mit Vibes von der Waterkant versorgt werden – Soulfire Hi-Fi arbeitet stetig an neuen Produktionen, und es warten momentan einige frische Tunes in der Pipeline.

Reggae/Dancehall juggling' machine from Antwerp

Since 2001, Shanty Crew is a solid Sound come out from Molfetta (Italy) and spreads consciousness, aggregation and love through the vibrations of the music. Over the years, GENERAL D, ALEX PAPASANDRO, CHIANCONE and other crew members developed various musical projects mainly through DJ Set that range 360​​° in black music and represent by a wide selection of dubplates, in addition to boasting a deep collection of fine vinyl. Constantly around the Peninsula and in Europe, including Rototom Sunsplash 2009 and various editions of the Bababoom Festival, Shanty Crew has been the promoter of many events with national and international successful artists such as Johnny Osbourne, Mr. Vegas, Anthony B, Horace Andy, Stitchie, Ward 21, Kabaka Pyramid, Gappy Ranks, Junior Kelly, Jah Mason, Mr. Lexx, Mad Professor, Sud Sound System, Boomdabash etc.
Still memorable the openings for concerts and collaborations with Manu Chao, Super Cat, Capleton, Sizzla to name a few. Shanty Crew has participated in various Soundclashes winning in 2017 the "Calabria Winter Clash II", in 2018 the "Battle of the Dubplates" at One Love Festival in Bruton (Uk), in 2019 the "Bring Back War Soundclash - Tag Team Edition" in Milan. In 2020 they participated in the "War Ina West Soundclash" in Germany.
