These tracks are modern trips into the unknown, representing the mood of the label perfectly - fierce individuality, evolution in sound, and deeply felt emotional content.

Edinburgh born Chris Braun, otherwise known as Duellist, is set to drop a hard-hitting new release on the immersive Wunderblock‘s sub label Folgsamkeitfaktor.
The original track is given an atmospheric remix by fellow friend and producer Swarm Intelligence, lowering the BPM and increasing the distortion on this dark and tense banger of a remix.

Premiere: Duellist - Hereditary (Swarm Intelligence Rework) [Folgsamkeitfaktor]

‘Berghain Fünfzehn’ sees @Luke-Slater creating new compositions from the Ostgut Ton back catalogue, chopping, looping tweaking and deploying sounds into a mix that is both a playful retrospective of the label and future-facing vision for mixing and dance music.

On April 17, seven exclusive tracks from the ‘Berghain Fünfzehn’ DJ mix will be released on two 12”s and for streaming/digital download. De- and reconstructing the Ostgut Ton discography, Slater’s vision encompasses not only sampling but live electronics and improvisation, resulting in a broad spectrum of heady and liminal dance music: from ultra stripped-back mindfuck techno, vocals and blasts of distortion to breakbeat excursions, minimalistic acid, and rave polyrhythms. In other words: the arc of the label through Slater’s singular hallucinatory prism.

Biography:
JK Flesh is the pseudonym employed by Justin K Broadrick for his solo work within the realm of heavy/mutant techno/electronica - informed by industrial, dub, power electronics and the extreme excesses of electronic music driven by beats and bass. He initially used this pseudonym in Techno-Animal with co-conspirator Kevin Martin (The Bug).
Justin is known for his history as GODFLESH, JESU, FINAL, ZONAL (formerly Techno-Animal), etc, and for writing the music/guitar on Side A of the legendary 'Scum' album by Napalm Death.
JK Flesh has releases on Electric Deluxe, Downwards, Hospital Productions and many more with many more to come.
