Had the amazing opportunity to play alongside the goat himself Mr Goldie, getting the decks passed over from him to finish a banging event which was hosted by TheSubRooms in Stroud, UK.

Dawzi is a Brighton-based drum and bass DJ known for her funky, rolling sets. As a resident at Sultry Sounds, she’s become a staple in Brighton’s dnb scene, consistently delivering dynamic performances that blend upfront selections with dark, rolling energy. This mix really showcases Dawzi's talent, cementing her place as one to watch in the evolving DnB landscape.

NOORCOTICS:

NOOR: This part of the name is inspired by the Persian/Arabic name "Noor" (which is also my surname shortened) which means "light" or "brightness". It could also be interpreted as "noir" meaning "black" in French, which suggest a contrast or combination of light and dark elements.

COTICS: This suffix doesn't seem to have a direct meaning, but is a play on the word "narcotics”, which refers to drugs. It suggest something potent, addictive, or intoxicating in the context of music.

Combining these parts, NOORCOTICS can be interpreted as a juxtaposition of light and dark or as something bright and captivating with an edge or hint of intensity, similar to the effects of narcotics but in a musical context.
