Let me briefly introduce you the man controlling the M.I.C, Man Like Problematik:

Problematik is a veteran rap artist and jungle drum and bass MC hailing from Bristol, deeply embedded in the city’s vibrant sound system culture. With a career spanning over two decades, Problematik has earned a reputation as a conscious rapper with razor-sharp flows and thought-provoking lyrics.

A fixture in the underground scene, Problematik has made waves on the airwaves, with appearances on influential radio stations such as Kool FM Midlands, Rough Tempo, Code Red, and LifeFM.TV.

As he prepares to drop a catalog of tracks across all major streaming platforms, Problematik continues to push the boundaries of his craft, delivering raw, authentic music that resonates with fans of both hip-hop and jungle drum and bass.

NOORCOTICS:

NOOR: This part of the name is inspired by the Persian/Arabic name "Noor" (which is also my surname shortened) which means "light" or "brightness". It could also be interpreted as "noir" meaning "black" in French, which suggest a contrast or combination of light and dark elements.

COTICS: This suffix doesn't seem to have a direct meaning, but is a play on the word "narcotics”, which refers to drugs. It suggest something potent, addictive, or intoxicating in the context of music.

Combining these parts, NOORCOTICS can be interpreted as a juxtaposition of light and dark or as something bright and captivating with an edge or hint of intensity, similar to the effects of narcotics but in a musical context.
