Panta Rex was introduced to me due to his output on Noorden. When I moved to Cologne I was looking for people to start doing music with and Alex from Noorden introduced me to him. Soon he started to show me more of his music. 

I instantly felt in love with Dyade which is a beautiful song to end a set with that lasted the whole night and is ending when the sun is already shining again. By the way the working title of this beautiful song was dtf-uia.  

Youth in the 90s shows you where Panta Rex got his musical background from and it is a homage back to the golden times after the fall of the wall and all the never ending parties. 

Critter is a club hit with a long build-up and a drop that is unique in its own way, that lets you expect something different and it is also hitting very hard. 

Lares in the end is one of those songs that feels like an old Workshop record. House at its best and with lyrics brought onto point.

“The discovery of the place, diving into the valley, very green at the end of spring. To discover the dome under which I met many friends, DJs, producers, label managers, the community. The moment when I really got into my set was special,  realising that the crowd is great, curious, and very receptive. The sets which follow one another are of great quality, Gëinst and Polygonia in particular were superb! And many other memories…”

Embracing your expressive states and your meditative inner moments, the slightly more minimalistic atmosphere of »V« is composed using a palette of sounds a wee bit darker than on the artist’s first album »LP1«.
They’re sourced from memories of first musical encounters and samples from new age records of Panta’s parents’ collection meeting field recordings, Orffian percussion, and analog machines.
Reflections on trance, energy, and escapism influenced the album’s
production. We dearly hope you enjoy the music – be it dancing or resting.

He might have lived a century and a half ago, but Antonín Leopold Dvořák resonates on. In 2014, the Deutsche Symphonie- Orchester recorded parts of his Ninth Symphony and released them into the wild for the masses to cut up, stretch out, and have their way with. This is the result of one such experiment. 

Ludwig Zibell and Martin Schmitz translate Dvořák’s operatic dramatism into a techno moodiness that sees the coming together of two unlikely worlds. 

Alex Ketzer’s 5 AM Reduction is a dubbed-out remix of the remix that plays out and dwells upon some of the moments you might miss listening to it in the orchestra. 

Finally these strange, otherworldly meditations upon music from another time see a vinyl release.
