This month’s “Circulating Waves” adept doesn’t need much introduction, as he is surely one of the driving figures of our scene. A warm welcome to Clotur!

The Tunesian-born DJ and producer currently resides in France and is releasing on labels like The Gods Planet, End of Perception, Northallsen Records, Blocaus & One Instrument, where he shaped his own unique blend of percussive rhythms, atmospheric textures and hypnotic layers.
The beat-driven, yet unusual, and at times, experimental style is also what he seeks to push and represent with his own label Warok: A reliable home to quality techno which always pushes the borders of the genre.

Expect a typical Clotur-esque journey between desert dry kicks, breaky, bass-worn rhythms and thousands upon thousands of bleeping and clackering details which will transport you deep, deep into the vortex!

Bohdan ha iniziato la sua carriera artistica a metà degli anni 2000.

Dopo aver fatto molta strada come dj drum & bass e organizzatore di eventi significativi a Kiev, negli ultimi anni ha iniziato a dedicarsi completamente alla produzione musicale, preferendo la techno d'atmosfera, mentale e le sue diverse manifestazioni. La sua discografia include pubblicazioni su alcune importanti etichette della techno contemporanea, tra cui Informa, NORITE e Illegal Alien.

I set di Bohdan, così come la sua musica, spaziano da vibrazioni introspettive ed estetiche, piene di atmosfere organiche e paesaggi sonori spaziali, ai ritmi funzionali, intensi e ipnotici di un'esperienza techno a tutti gli effetti.

Bohdan è anche uno dei due membri del progetto elettronico Asyncronous. Nel 2020 ha lanciato una serie di eventi con sede a Kiev ÆNIGMA, incentrati sulla deep techno contemporanea.

For the 41st episode of our podcast series, we are happy to welcome Lisbon-based Russian DJ Lisa Dem.

As we attach great importance to offering the chance to emerging artists to showcase themselves on our platform, we have decided for once to release the podcast of an artist who has not yet performed at our events.

Selected by Apolline Guedon, this young artist has recently started to establish herself in the Portuguese Hypnotic Techno scene. We will continue to watch her evolution and looking forward to having her play for us soon at one of our next events in Portugal.

Born in Siberia, Lisa was growing up involved with music constantly, beginning from her parent's authentic and diverse musical influence, later she's been playing violin around 16 years in total, first in the music college orchestra and after - in a folk rock band Veter Oseni, until she moved to Europe and got passionate about electronic music, raving and DJing, starting mixing Deep House, but then moved to Techno. In her mixes she raises energy combining tracks of various techno styles, such as Hypnotic, ambient techno and break beats.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
