This past weekend was full of spectacular atmosphere, courtesy of an uncommonly powerful aurora borealis display, so it’s only fitting that this week’s episode of Moonlight Mixtapes contains some celestial atmosphere of its own—straight from the studio of Ilias Katelanos. 

An organic house mastermind, he’s built a resume from unforgettable tracks on standout labels such as Where the Shadow Ends, Telematique, Melody of the Soul, Flug Lab, and Songuara. This week, he’s centered both moonlight and melody as he takes us through an hour-long celebration of high vibration.

Katelanos begins the mix on an elevated note, layering shades of funk and soulful vocal samples atop a solidly organic beat that goes the distance.
