Originally released in April of 2024 as part of the ‘Hersey’ EP, the near ten minute offering found the Italian artist crafting a deep dubby journey that continued to resonate across the remainder of the year. Immediately captivating with its laidback rhythms, glossy melodies and prismatic haze, Blanka’s craft is vivid and compelling throughout. Rich in character and texture, colours blur together while gauzy synths propel the journey forward, as fuzzy reverberations unite for a wide-eyed finale. Still holding down the number two spot in Ercos’ Beatport best sellers nearly one year after its release, Sound Avenue now invites Savvas, Norb and Dovim to re-imagine the piece in their own essence for the impending spring season.
