Jonas Rathsman announces his latest offering with cutting-edge innovators Crosstown Rebels. ‘Complex’ featuring Josef Salvat is released on 10th June 2016.

This is a tech-blues odyssey, an introverts primal scream, where complex emotions and urges are vented and perfectly complemented by Rathsman’s explorations into the dark corners of electronic music. Enjoy the journey. With the release only in the hands of a select few tastemaker DJs, ‘Complex’ has been making waves at the recent Miami Winter Music Conference, “receiving hands in the air welcomes and even a sit down ovation” according to label boss Damian Lazarus. ‘Complex’ is set to be the first underground anthem of 2016. 

The release comes with two carefully chosen remixes. First up is Swiss techno stalwart Deetron, who steers the song into percussive acid oblivion while Serge Devant offers up his deep house expertise for a dramatic and driving offbeat cut. 

With his instantly recognisable sound, Jonas has found praise the world over for his keen ear and transcendent sets, which have captivated listeners on both the international club and festival scenes.

Following his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, Rathsman continues to showcase his technical capabilities and impressive track selection with his bi-monthly mix series ‘ELEMENTS’, now on its fourth instalment.

"Hi-Hat Conversation" by Human Movement

Hot on the heels of the monster release of “Mutter” on Gerd Janson’s Running Back, Konstantin Sibold has delivered an acid remix for the Danish experimental pop band WhoMadeWho.

The original song, an infectious 3-minute pop ballad has been mutated and stretched out into a pulsating acid track, aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Tomas Høffding’s vocals sit proudly over a thumping kick drum and result in 7 minutes of potent, almost ominous club music that sits resolutely at the low end of the pH scale.

Italian producer Andrew Beat drops the tenth release on PAWSA and Michael Bibi’s Solid Grooves Records with label favourite Dennis Cruz providing the remix.

Growing up in Milan, cut his teeth DJing as a teenager at many of the city’s key clubs before working with renowned venue Amnesia Milano. More than a decade later, Beat has released on the likes of Snatch!, Natural Rhythm, Hustler Muzik and Skullbusted. He now appears on seminal imprint Solid Grooves Records precisely a year after it’s launch, joining a formidable roster spanning Dennis Cruz, Wade, ONNO and Reelow.

Deep and percussive from the off, ‘Grown’ combines a heady rhythm with twisted female vocal samples and rumbling bass tones, before Dennis Cruz provides a low-slung rendition of his own that incorporates syncopated drums and a killer groove. Last up, ‘Dogma’ ups the energy with crunchy snares and a rumbling bassline assembled with the dancefloor in mind.

Claire Spooner, aka Just Her, has been part of the Selador family for a couple of years now. Having contributed two remixes as part of the Him_Self_Her duo as well as DJ’ing at one of our nights at Space Ibiza last summer, we're delighted she’s now let us become custodians of one of her original productions, the heavenly ‘On The Low’.

Featuring long time collaborator, Kieran Fowkes, this vocal gem also drops with wonderful interpretations from Italian giant Pirupa, German maestro Christian Prommer and hot new kid on the block, Athea. It’s quite possibly our strongest remix package to date. A statement of intent for the year ahead.
