In the late 90's and early 2000's i was really into the whole Lowercase/Onkyo scene.  Steve Roden, Richard Chartier, Annette Krebs, Sachiko M, Toshimaru Nakamura etc. I performed on prepared electric guitar often just encouraging the hum of the pickups.  Then i started working with sine-wave generators and mixer feedback.  Then things started getting rhythmic and bordering on minimal techno for me.  After a while I realized i missed writing minimalist songs and started Unur.  It seems every time i make a new record i need to step away from the structure and melody and work with something more abstract and stark.  This is no exception.  I'm currently making a new Unur record and this is my own reaction to it.  This is for listening, this is for clearing my head. Thanks.
