From the serene landscapes of Wairarapa, Jake Smith, a.k.a Unwell, is a dynamic drum & bass, jungle and breaks producer and DJ from Aotearoa. With releases on respected labels such as Overview, Taipan Trax, and Borderline's Enrichment Audio; you'll find his sound is experimental yet distinctly minimal, funky & eclectic.
Having collaborated with artists such as Paige Julia, Hound, and Caru, Unwell has gained traction in the scene; receiving support from influential names such as Noisia, Boiler Room, DJ Mag and George FM. His live sets create an immersive experience, seamlessly fusing drum and bass with techno, jungle, garage, and more, captivating audiences along the way.
