Originally, I wanted to do a S4 style remix of Bill and Ben's theme, but I was so knackered out from school and it was a pain trying to rearrange the instruments on Mixcraft so I gave it up. So I decided to ask HKPorterBEDT to compose one for me as he was still doing commissions at the time and this was the result.

Thomas' Title Theme (ITSO Donald & Douglas S2)

I was commissioned to write a theme for the real 'Stepney', not the Thomas incarnate. The first section came to mind straight away but then I thought, since it's been 10 years since my first original theme, I thought I'd enhance it into something like this. Kind of a sing along, Disney inspired take on the theme.

Bill and Ben had a lot of themes in S3, the main one being the remix of their S2 Theme in 'One Good Turn' but the small section from Heroes that was used later in S4 was one of my favorite variations of their theme so I decided to expand it into a full track.

Stuck In The Rain (Remake)

This was composed in 1997 as part of a ballet  Out of Here, commissioned by  CANDOCO dance company. The title Hat Dance came from the choreographer who devised a scene in which the performer danced and juggled multiple hats. This was one of my compositions that made use of the wonderful Schillinger method of 'distributive powers' in which a single bar of rhythm is made to yield multiple bars and voices, as if by magic!
