A few years ago, one of our presidential candidates referred to those who had the audacity to vote for the other candidate as "Deplorables".   It occurred to me that my family and I might fall into that "deplorable" category, so I thought I would offer a little insight into the daily life of us deplorables, or at least the perception of us by many of the social / political elites. But first the engagement is on followed by the actual wedding day, a marriage made in the cosmic heavens. A life-time of togetherness is on it's way! How massively exciting is that? The reigning royal couple dazzles all who have eyes on them! The noble king and queen are ready to rule their kingdom, their people, to set the big bright future!

I simply wanted to give off an impression that if one were to travel to another space and time dimension, one might see this Queen along with other foreign space beings..however, what makes them unique, is that they can morph according to your fantasty-out-of-this-world-like-infinite-desires...Of course they do come to life just to please you with a dance or simply a fine vision...in some cases, they can even make you feel! 'Alone In A Crowded Place' is a fusion track inspired by the experience of feeling alone whilst surrounded and in the midst of a large group of people. Composition is shared with Georg Boehme, whilst Georg's wind arrangements are simply mind blowing as is his soloing on this track. So then once again I have had the exceptionally good fortune of sharing another musical journey with this extraordinary player, arranger and composer.

It was created exclusively using the now obsolete Camel Alchemy Mobile app.

It was my favorite and first app that I used when returning to music after a 14 year break from Blink Twice. (abandoning hardware and selling my gear)

Alchemy only had a 4 track sequencer, but I made the most of it. This particular piece uses 2 tracks for synths, 1 track for percussion, and 1 track with the voice sample. What Alchemy excelled in was it's incredible synth engine and ability to morph sounds in realtime with it's x-y axis screen control. I fully went all out with this feature on this track, resulting in a similar effect to knob twisting on modular synths.

I greatly miss this app, but Apple bought out Camel, and as a result they did not update this app. They instead included an extremely watered down version of the Alchemy synth engine in their Garageband app.

Before the Tul prayer begins, it is customary to give free rein to violence, shouts, loud and tense music, worshippers letting themselves go and objects being shattered.
This precipitates a particular psychological state that could be likened to deep relaxation: the opening of the inner listening.
The sermon that follows, different each time, revolves around the articulation of apparent contradictions in a style similar to our Taoism. Thus, in the recording we offer you, the first aphorism recites:
"Supreme peace appears as violence".
This part of the celebration is traditionally accompanied by complex rhythmic music. Each worshipper is invited to dance to the rhythm they perceive, slow for some, fast for others, the whole swirl being considered as supreme harmony, everyone's part of the same ensemble but in a way that is unique to each individual.
