In Oscar's usual manner of blending demos, home recordings, and subcultural music from all nations between the strange and familiar, this mix proposes personal collection pieces and reflections situated in the current moment. The next instalment in the Phase Group Mix series is delivered by dear friend and contributing artist to the label, Low Bat. 

Low Bat lives amongst the black coal hills of northern France. When he isn’t marking textbooks and exposing Neue Deutsche Welle to the classrooms, the French DJ, musician and teacher keeps himself busy playing with his band Jean Luc, co-running the Yellow Light of Death festival and curating radio as 1/3 of the team behind Tblisi’s Mutant Radio. 

On top of this, he makes up 1/2 of Lowspace, the newest additions to Phase Group, who’s split tape with Lostsoundbytes will be coming out in December

His Phase Group Mix is a masterfully sequenced mad ride through post punk, psych rock, French trip hop, and proto trance. Thanks Louis!

For this special occasion show returns with the new episode together with Mr. Monday, Sacha Mambo and Jokubas Bajorinas.
Mr. Monday will take us by the hand and brew us some steaming cardamom coffee before Sacha Mambo asks us take a deep breath, slow down and let ourselves be guided down the rabbit hole. SMETANA (@smetana-berlin) is rippling through Berlins' subcultural periphery with her bold explorations of sounds and sensations along the spectrum of pop, folk, rock and rave that seek to reach beyond the boundaries of conformity and uncompromisingly celebrate freedom of mind and heart. 

Following her invitation is SON OBJET (@son-objet), a visual artist from Porto whose work resides in the fields of archive and appropriation. This time, her artistic exploration extends to music, where she engages in researching and selecting bizarre and cosmic ideas along a chronological path. Within this journey, different rhythmic and energetic states meander, alluding to a kind of mnemonic language.
