Both DJs are staples in the scene and have toured around the world for decades. Freshcobar also known as DJ Fresh One, a globe-trotting open format DJ, and Lavelle Dupree from the infamous Scooter and Lavelle are back at it again with their first release together for 2023. Both of them have releases on Enormous Tunes, Sirup Music, Undr the Radr and Twisted Funk Records. Both of them back with their own label and imprint to stamp and solidify their name in the space.

Freshcobar is back on our third release this time along with vocalist Golden Girl from San Diego, California. Freshcobar being a staple in the dance music scene and Golden Girl an emerging vocalist from the city teamed up to bring a 90’s classic back to life.

The tune ‘Missing’ by Everything But the Girl was remixed by Freshcobar. While in the studio Golden Girl heard the tune and immediately wanted to cover it. She asked if she could and the two then embarked on their first collaboration together. While Freshcobar already had the tech house driven groove and bassline along with the original Everything But the Girl vocals, Golden Girls brings an added touch to the track giving it a bit more of a modern feel.
