Our seventh addition to the NHS catalog comes in the form of a collaborative EP with Siete Catorce and Amazondotcom, two artists that share a refined, eclectic approach to the sonics of electronic music. Both artists reigning from Mexico/Oakland & Los Angeles respectively, Siete Catorce & Amazondotcom come together with two very different cultural experiences of music, intertwining these two worlds together intimately and carefully. 

Taking an alternate approach to the contemporary club scene, with the steady rise of very particular styles and subcultures, the two artists take a moment to re-evaluate the way in which they present their collaborative sound – amorphous and evolving, eclectic and standalone from many other current trends. Teardropz is in many ways a sliver of counter culture.

Siete Catorce & Amazondotcom - Teardropz EP [NHS007]

Siete Catorce & Amazondotcom are two club figures connected by sound, style and underground ethos. Affiliated with NAAFI and Astral Plane Recordings respectively, the two artists have linked up on killer Bristolian imprint Nostro Hood System to release a four-track collaborative EP titled ‘Teardropz’.

With a clear-cut appreciation of clubland sub-cultures and locality, the eclectic names come together throughout the four rousing cuts to deliver a sublime, steadfast slice of contemporary club material. 

‘Teardropz’ lands August 3 via NHS.
