Ephemeral.
The sea drifts in to me
Wherever I might be,
And when it goes away
There's no reason to stay.
I go with the sea now,
Go with the flow.
It's all I know.
I'm just Ephemeral.
Whispers on the shore.
Sand erased by each soft wave.
Time sighs, then is gone.
Tide paints, then withdraws.
Footprints vanish in moonlight.
Silence takes their place.
