This is my little sister singing.  It was recorded on a phone.  I wrote this song years before we recorded it.  This recording was performed on my mother's grand piano.  There is a new remastered version available.

Wish I Were A Butterfly

Improvised song on my old Yamaha keyboard through a guitar effects pedal.  The coolest part of this song is the unintentional recorded feedback matched up with what I was playing.

Waveform artwork is a section from one of my acrylic paintings I made when I taught a paint night at my house.  I composed the basis for this song on my phone while my girl went into a haunted house and I was scared so I waited outside, hence the name of the song.  I went back over this song multiple times with Korg Radias later, and also with Kaossilator to add effects.

Haunted Wait

Collaboration project between Bismuth Sky and NOSTRUMUVA.  If you put a neodymium magnet between two bismuth ingots and then put another large magnet above that, you can get the small magnet to float because bismuth is diamagnetic.  Bismuth Sky provided the bass track and I improvised Akai EWI4000s over top of that and ran it through audacity to provide more of a drone ethereal sound.

I wrote this song right after buying polishing supplies to fix a scratched fake marble sink in my old condo.  I was upset but trying to calm down.  This is a multi-layer improvised song with me on Korg Radias keyboard and also using a Kaossilator.

I was trying to make a relaxed dissonant melancholy song, in the style of Erik Satie (think Minecraft).  This was improvised on my Korg Radias and recorded to my BOSS RC 50 Loop Pedal.

Specifically, imagine the Rock Biter in The NeverEnding Story trying to hold on to his friends as the Nothing takes them away.

"They look like big, good, strong hands, don't they? I always thought that's what they were."

My little sister and I often joked about getting "weak hand syndrome" (WHS) when we were oxygen-deprived from laughing too much.

This girl tried to believe in a purpose, but she encountered too much pain and no longer believes in justice.

There is a mystical place in the ocean, and if you jump in with your eyes closed, then you become the leader of a bunch of deep sea creatures that worship you, promise.

Imagine you are in a cathedral, and then suddenly the chamber choir breaks into dubstep...

Lost Window

My cat's name is officially Holstein (which is the name for a type of cow), but we call her Steeny.
She is a mostly white cat with mostly symmetrical black spots.
With my cat, I say "Chimkin" instead of chicken.
I trained my cat to walk and use buttons when she wants things.
I love my cat, but now she hits all the buttons and it wakes me up in the middle of the night.  And for some reason she goes number 2 outside of the litter box for the last 10 years.

How Hard I Try

How Hard I Try ft. James Hersey

I'm going to start doing some live looping performances on TEOP1 so this is a random practice session that is kind of Jam Band / Scat / Funk.  There is a 4-track on the TEOP1, so I can start out with drums or scat and then hit a key to end the loop, then just keep playing live and kind of overdub onto the other 3 tracks, and then also add in breaks by holding on one of the tracks while playing a B section.  I just live improvised the bass loop and then improvised the organ and keys as I went.  Random mood today, sorry to my dubstep and ambient fans :) This one is weird.

Halibut

I began writing this piece for minimalist organ with the intention of having multiple overlapping sections, but then I got bored and added some funk.  When I got to editing in Audacity, I added a "Paul Stretch" to a section which is the thing that makes it sometimes sound like it's "underwater", but this time it sounded like an airplane, so I got obsessed with that noise and put it all over the track in different forms and made that the general theme.

Well Clear ADSB

Experimental meditation oscillation song. TEOP1 Field keyboard, started with a layer of mid-level digital organ with some weird timber effect in it, then added an almost walking jazz bass accompaniment, then went back and added a higher layer of some more ethereal stuff.  The point of this song is drone background for some thinking/working.
