Fortified Cereal

An Otamatone is an electronic synthesizer shaped like a musical eighth note, good at making sounds similar to opera vibrato.

I wrote the bass part first on Korg Radias, then went back and overdubbed 2 otamatones.  There are long sections where one of them is horribly flat or sharp and it makes you want to tear your eyeballs out.  I could have done a better job if I actually practiced but this is like take 1 improvised for each instrument.

I was inspired by Claude Debussy for this song.

Encouraged

In addition to harpsichord, I also like accordion.  I currently only own a really dumpster-version accordion, so this is algorithmic rendered accordion.  Imagine a cat in Venice, Italy, accidentally falling into the water after eating too much fish.

Dizzy Cat

I had just composed my song "Resilient", and in the album cover, I had made a tiny little dandelion on the bottom right where it was brighter, the point being the dandelion survives regardless of the crumbling buildings, etc.  And I wanted to get back into some symphonic music.  This is supposed to be the mind of the dandelion.  It is not technically an overture of course.

One of my listeners (Avid from Singapore) said they loved the ending of my "Lost Window" dubstep song, so I expanded on that ending to make a longer version of that ending.

So I did actually take some professional music composition classes at the Swift Creek Academy for the Performing Arts in Chesterfield, VA.  But since 2009, my primary music theory teacher is my girl, who introduced me to Holst.

Opening music for a horror film I'm making called "The Dranglers" about mutant angler fish with spider legs that lure humans by shaping their esca like everyday objects.

I missed harpsichord music, so I wrote this.  My favorite is Handel or Bach.  harpsichord music sounds very similar to Dubstep to me... for some reason.

Harpsichord Concerto In H Minor

The image artwork for the album cover and waveform were created in watercolor by Rachel Rodgers, my sister.  This piece is a classical drone/ambient, where I attempt to have a constant lower drone noise behind a high pitched dissonant lead.

Watercolor Life

Classical alto saxophone and Korg Radias keyboard organ.  I wrote the sheet music for the saxophone lead first which was sightread: https://musescore.com/user/93785209/scores/25327258   The organ part was added as an improvised layer afterwards.  Then some Audacity reverb changes.

Lonely Tide

Collaboration between Keys from Neptune and NOSTRUMUVA.
Keys from Neptune wrote the main piano. NOSTRUMUVA added some more piano layers (TEOP1), Akai EWI4000s (electronic woodwind), cricket sound effects from a white water rafting trip.

Le Verrier is known for predicting the existence and position of Neptune using only mathematics.
