Durante 1973 mi banda "Rata Intelectual" formaba con bajo, batería y guitarra líder. 'Opus 3' es un tema preparado para trío que modifiqué cuando se agregó un nuevo integrante y yo pasé del bajo a la guitarra rítmica.
'Segundo Tema' quedó llamado así ('Second Theme') porque era el segundo de cuatro temas de una suite que finalmente no terminé. Esta versión cuenta con el agregado de teclados que no estaban presentes en la original. El resto es igual y reproduce los arreglos de mi extinto amigo Daniel Eusebi (RIP), profundo admirador de Jan Akkerman. Sobre el final hay una aproximación al estilo de Steve Howe de quien era fan yo por aquellos años.
Esta segunda parte cierra el período que pude recuperar de 1973 basado en registros conservados en viejos cassettes.

During 1973 my band "Rata Intelectual" was formed with bass, drums and lead guitar. 'Opus 3' is a song prepared for trio that I modified when a new member was added and I went from bass to rhythm guitar.
'Segundo Tema' was called so ('Second Theme') because it was the second of four themes from a suite that I finally did not finish. This version has the addition of keyboards that were not present in the original. The rest is the same and reproduces the arrangements of my late friend Daniel Eusebi, a deep admirer of Jan Akkerman. At the end there is an approximation to the style of Steve Howe, of whom I was a fan in those years.
This second part closes the period that I was able to recover from 1973 based on records preserved on old cassettes.

A very informal cover of this Dylan song with my friend, Jack Beck, who plays guitar much better than me and we are just enjoying some nights to sing and play together and thought we'd try this, as we are both Dylan lovers. He is from Scotland and I am Appalachian and we have noticed how much we share in music and ancestry. we are truly one and music is the connecting force we all share. the lyrics we discussed, Jack said he felt 'crawling down the avenue' was more suited for a woman, which I immediately protested ..after all,  it was written by a man, even Bob changed that verse to 'Flying down the avenue ' but tonight Jack and I made a compromise and sang it 'Running down the avenue' Not this version here, as we didn't record tonight, ANYWAY! so glad to be back and sharing here, as SC froze all my songs and wouldn't allow me to upload anymore as I somehow signed up for a different membership , Had to wait for over a year for that to expire and I think I paid for the correct plan now! Yay! I have missed y'all and look forward to sharing more songs and listening to your beautiful music ! Thank you to those who remember me and still visit my page, I can Thank Tony Lyrics  for that! Hello my Friends,
so this is my submission for the Indie Film Music Contest 2024, featuring the short Film 'Shopping Trip', directed by Barry Wilkinson.

It was definitely a interesting experience to write for this kind of clip. 

The prompt was to build tension and culminating at the heat detector scene.
Afterwards there should be a shift towards sense of cautious relief, while the main protagonist thinks about the elderly neighbor, which might be in need, underscoring a mix of empathy and concern.
