Here's a new track by Heem, Billere & Nico Harris drawing inspiration from the Japanese jazz band Indigo Jam Unit. With an ambient atmosphere, "Reverie" is a beautiful jazz piece that builds energy as it progresses. It starts off with an ambient half, reminiscing of a dreamlike state being contrasted by high octane drums. As the track builds in intensity, more elements are introduced that eventually form into an explosive section of piano and strings which are complemented by an awesome bass arrangement. Reverie is one of these special tracks that will make you look at who made it and searching for more like it.

A love letter to Transience:

Transience began, inconspicuously, in an empty music classroom nearly two years ago. At the time, we had no clue we would make an album; when Flowerz was finished that night, there was no doubt we would. Since then, Transience has been crafted slowly across university dorms, on subways and buses, and in liminal spaces in which we happened to have a laptop and a pair of headphones. By the numbers, the album features well over 80 tracks, 22 different breaks, and 9 songs; samples 8 pieces of music and vocals from 7 different games; was made in 6 living spaces; and required 4 different modes of transit to get from his place to mine, vice versa, or wherever else we decided to work—often trading a pair of headphones back and forth as we took turns expanding on each other’s ideas. Transience, defined as “the state or fact of lasting only for a short time”, is an ode to that experience and to the changing state of our lives as we navigated new pathways and worlds throughout the album’s making. Beyond that, It is a work made with love, something we hope shines through to anyone who listens.
