🎵 She Knows (live) [ at ] Fusion 2024 [ Live-Special ] 🎵

Today we are back with a very special recording from this year's Fusion Festival. The two exceptional artists Teresa Tomás and Marcel Dadalto aka SHE KNOWS are delighting us today with their unique and above all danceable live recording from this years Velvet Soup Stage at the famous FUSION Festival 2024. Incidentally, large parts of their live performance come from their latest album ‘Nervous Bliss’. It's worth a closer look.

✔️ What are your musical Influences?
The music we make has a lot of influences from our backgrounds and life experiences. Marcel from Brazil and Teresa from Spain - our cultural heritage from both countries is very present in the way we listen to and make music. Of course we listen to a lot of electronic music, but not only. Although our sound is different from other electronic artists like Acid Pauli, Hostox, Viken Arman, Stimming among others, their work continues to inspire and influence us.

✔️ What makes a good “afterhour”?
A combination of good music, good people, a cosy setting and the creation of great moments together.

✔️Do you have any thoughts you would like to share about your set?
This set essentially features our new album ‘Nervous Bliss’, which we've just released on Bar 25, but with the tracks rearranged for the dancefloor. Stronger beats and bass lines, and new arrangements played live with the help of drum machine and few synths.

✔️What was your experience of the set you recorded at Fusion 2024?
Playing at Fusion is always a joy and excitement. It was also the last gig we had together from our album tour before Marcel went back to Brazil and it was super fun to play it at Velvet Soup Stage, which has been hosting us over the past years.
We worked on this set for basically a month and then we were fine tuning it on the gigs just before Fusion. We usually learn a lot from listening to what we did, and making decisions afterwards on what's working or what we could do better next time is very helpful. Sometimes it's great to also learn from happy accidents that often happen in live situations and becomes later part of the official arrangement next time we play. We hope you enjoy it <3!
