@leshlingi debuts on Scuffed Recordings with three tracks spanning anthemic breaks, wonky UK techno and percussive club music.

Born in Iceland and now based in London, INGI has begun to make a name for himself in the UK’s club scene with his brand of broken UK club music, pulling on influences from across the electronic music spectrum.

His ‘Wrestle’ EP on Fly By Night Recordings was released at the end of 2021 and saw support from the likes of Madam X, Danielle, Anastasia Kristensen, and Frazer Ray.

Starting off proceedings on the EP is the electrifying title track ‘Fade’, anchored around glitched-out vocals and powerful breaks.

Up next is ‘Kurt’, an altogether more leftfield club track with swung percussion, robotic bass stabs, and metallic synth work.

Closing out the release is ‘Point’, whose staccato vocal stabs and rolling percussion pay homage to some of the best of UK techno and bass music.

The first EP on Note Variation was prepared by a debut producer, but by no means a newcomer to the broken beats, Subtraxive from Moscow. 
He brings you closer to the savor of orthodox mid-tempo breakbeat in the British style, inspired by the subtractive synthesis of the eternal classics of Roland, such as SH-101, TB-303, TR-808, TR-909.

Alexander (the real name of Subtraxive) was inspired by the latests music species of the early 00s. Each track is a proven ascetic antidote to the hybrid jumble of genres, but at the same time organically combines with many types of garage and house music for your pleasure of killing it on the dancefloor.

"Circles" steals the show with the mid-tempo sandstorm drums and mantra-spiral bassline.
The second track on the release “Unwind”, immediately teleporting you to the end of a night. Subwoofer health test tool. 
"With You / Without You" opens proceedings with a spiral of haunted acid bass and technoid hihat leaping in energy throughout.
"My Flow" is a subtle composition of euphoric synths and well-crafted sub-bass. These nostalgic early morning breaks scattered cut stylishly close off the EP.

Mantissa’s second venture into the label space comes from Bristol-born DJ / producer & radio host Bex. Percussive, heavy, bolty and jolty, the record is full of moments destined for those wanting to lose themselves on the dancefloor through Bex’s signature emotive soundscapes.

Her late 2021 debut EP release, “Feels EP” felt reflective and warm, influenced by the increased introspection during lockdowns over the past two years. Her second release, Mantissa 002, sees these emotions once again taking centre stage with added dance-ready grooves born out of the return and resurgence of the freedom to dance. The record combines those emotional notes with high energy sounds, futuristic harmonies and classic but experimental dance influences.

Bex is a Bristol native, the experimental and less orderly side to dance music a key influence to her creative efforts. Holding a dance show residency “Stocks & Shares” on Noods Radio since 2018, her sound has evolved through broadening her listening during the curation of monthly shows.

The whole style of the record is influenced by Bristol’s trademark sound, alongside this inspirations such as Om Unit or James Blake are subtly clear to hear. However, many of the moods projected throughout feel equally inspired by artistic influences beyond those of specific artists or locations. “Infinite Games” could just as easily soundtrack a sci-fi epic as it could move a dancefloor.

Mother Of Pearls (@mother-of-pearls), the duo of Tom Jarmey (@tom-jarmey) and Ed Hodge (@edward-hodge), are back in action after gracing listeners with their earth-shattering debut and sophomore releases nearly two years ago. Now they land firmly on the prolific Brooklyn label HOMAGE with their 'Gelexian Protocol' EP, serving up four delicious slices of rumbling bass and breaks along with a remix by Viers (@viers).

Based in Manchester, both Tom and Ed have quickly become consistent fixtures of clubland. Tom's releases on Holding Hands, Lobster Theremin, Dansu Discs, and more, and Ed's releases on Tresydos, Gestalt, Shall Not Fade, and Dansu Discs have proven that both artists are dependable purveyors of underground dancefloor material. Their debut collaborative EP on R.A.N.D. Muzik Recordings and their sophomore release on Gunfinger Food introduced their distinct sound in 2020 and 2021 and their third full length here will deliver the next chapter of their story.

Leading off the release is 'Hive' with a weighty bassline and brain-tickling textures underneath a haunting vocal, clearly setting the tone for an A-side aimed at the most transcendent moments caught in the dance. 'Machine Language' follows appropriately with a deep chest-rattling low end and breakbeat rhythms wrapped in a warm blanket of atmosphere, earworm synths, and seductive vocal stabs. On the flip side, Mother Of Pearls amps up the energy and taps into the duo's rave influence with 'Peace On Halcyon', pairing hyper rhythms with a piercing synth and booming bass. Rounding out the originals is the Ambient Mix of 'Machine Language', with meditative textures delicately guiding the listener on a blissful sonic journey. Finally completing the release is the Viers remix of 'Peace On Halcyon', completely flipping the original into an otherworldly bass anthem that fits right at home on this stacked release.

Kouncil Cuts label owner, Mark Mackenzie releases his first solo EP on the label.

Returning from a brief hiatus, the Highlands based DJ and producer plans to see the release of dozens of demos over the next year, starting with three tracks that stray from
the usual sound on KC.
“It’s a million miles away from what I’ve traditionally released on the label, but I’ve been constantly chased by mates for copies of these after playing them at a couple of parties
here. Eventually I came to the conclusion that it’s not worth fussing over what ‘fits’ and what doesn’t. I’ve really enjoyed playing them out, and that was always the driving force
behind selecting music for the label.”

The ‘Euro Disco Weapon’ EP comes out on September 9th, across all major online stores
and streaming platforms.
