Spanish DJ and producer, Daniel Orpi, is the next newcomer to join the NEM fam with his brand new, ‘High Vibrations’ EP. Making waves all the way from Barcelona, Daniel Orpi is a welcome addition to the modern dance scene. Based in London, Daniel has dived headfirst into the underground music space, emerging with unique mixes and sounds that have impressed music legends including label boss, Danny Howard.

Since 2016, Orpi and his music creation has been non-stop. Early shows at some of London’s hottest venues such as Fabric and Village Underground saw Orpi mixing alongside the likes of Darius Syrossian, Richy Ahmed and Steve Lawler. After the release of his debut EP with Jesse Perez’s Mr. Nice Guy Records in 2018, Daniel has received positive support from experts in the field and has since signed deals with respected labels including Saved Records, Kaluki Musik, Do Not Sleep, Cuttin’ Headz, Edible and elrow.

The ‘High Vibrations’ EP brings that summer feel-good vibe, offering two essential cuts packed with crisp and energetic percussion, laid back house drums, infectious basslines, warming brass melodies, soulful chords and delicate vocals, ensuring that this release is going to be a summer smash!

Nothing Else Matters (NEM) channels the inclusive energy dance music is truly about. Founded by BBC Radio 1 DJ and tastemaker Danny Howard, NEM’s roots lay in British nightlife where its events expanded into an electronic music record label supporting club-ready productions.

Its catalogue features some of the most influential DJs including Detlef, Illyus & Barrientos, Lee Foss, Rhythm Masters, Secondcity, Solardo and more. Influenced by Danny’s Radio 1 show, the label functions as a platform to break new talent as well as represent contemporary UK dance sounds.
