Eureka - Huma-Huma

"Ethereal Resolutions" is a tranquil ambient soundscape inviting us to explore the interplay of harmony and dissonance.  Featuring the soothing tones of an electric dulcimer and the enchanting sounds of an Irish flute - both improvise  over the chord progression of Dm, G7, and C (ii - V7 - I).  At a very slow tempo (30 bpm), the music meanders gently creating a calming atmosphere for relaxation.  The electric dulcimer and Irish flute were routed through  Logic Pro and enhanced with Valhalla atmospheric effects.  

In continuing my study of music theory, I explored tritones and the harmonies within chords. I experimented with the concept of tritone and tritone resolutions that create tension and release.  This song also marks my first exploration of harmonies within each chord, allowing me to begin to learn about weaving layers of sound. 

I hope the ethereal sounds of this piece wash over you and help you get to a place of feeling more peacefulness.
