In a similar vein to my previous EP, the first song is always a big statement and some kind of "flex track" to showcase everything I have going on. After some jazz-fusion inspired shenanigans in the previous project, now it's time for an entire orchestra. You know, just because. I was inspired by a performance I saw of my city's orchestra playing the second Shéhérazade by Ravel, and that inspired me deeply to make an orchestral arrangement. Like almost everything about this EP, I ended up changing most of the drop if not all of it, and now it actually sounds great. All in all I'm very happy I'm even able to achieve this. Special thanks to Inverted Silence for the invaluable help shaping the orchestra's sounds.

Now this one is funny! I originally made this track as a rip-off of an Akeos tune all the way back in 2021, and ended up featuring it on my 2022 showcase. This was the last song from there that was left to release, but it suffered a complete metamorphosis. Two years later, after the insistence of my friend and fellow artist Chocographix, and Akeos herself liking it, I resumed work, and I scrapped the original intro to make a newer, better one. And after a while... I decided to also scrap the drop, and make a newer, better one. So between the original song and the actual final one. There's literally nothing in common, besides both being in 135BPM. You've ever heard of the Ship of Theseus?

WHOLESOME MELODIC TEAROUT. 
This song was intended to be some very dark and crazy tearout song but I sounded amazing with melodic elements. I got inspired by the congolese wedding song "ee mfumue" that we played at my parents wedding (it's the sample you hear in the beginning).

Also introducing afro bossa nova on that occasion. I hope to see more fusions of african music and electronic music in the future <3

This is the first song I made after finishing my upcoming album, a fun complextro banger with nu-disco influence in a similar style to Madeon's early works! I also gained the confidence to spit a rap verse and chorus in this and I'm so happy with how it turned out, hope you enjoy! :D

djeb and I first met over four years ago in this weird quasi-mythical place called Loudness Refuge. We became friends almost instantly and, since then, we have been around each other's music and art, have traveled to different countries together, and even worked together alongside other people on songs like Dubstep 2 - Emotional clap or SHADOW GOVERNMENT INC - CLEAN JOBS.
