Robsoul has been a go to Le Visiteur label for many years hosting many of the true legends of house music.

What we love about the label is their constant quest to unearth outstanding new talent and so it is with UK based producer Malfi. His debut EP dropped on the label last week and it's a classic Robsoul outing. Packed with outstanding jackin' beats, deep house chords, precision loops and occasional disco flourishes its house music for dark smokey basements.

We we seriously impressed with the album and wanted to know more about this brilliant new artist. We has a quick chat with Malfi about his career to date, his influences and his studio. Adaptation Music adds to its South African contingent with a serious deep house track '4 U' from Octopuz with two stellar remixes from UK based duo L.A Cerate. Hypnotic deep, atmospheric, dreamy, thought provoking; the original and remixes cover all bases for those who appreciate deep vibes.

Octopuz, also known as DJ Octopuz started producing music in 1999 and set up his first label B-Loud Records four years later. Since 2013 he's been running Ancestral Recordings which showcases some of the finest local house music talents alongside his own productions and he's also been signed to labels in the U.S and Europe. Not only a producer, hence the name, he holds down a regular DJ residency in his home town of Bloemfontein, South Africa and has played alongside the likes of Black Coffee, Ralf GUM, Vinny Da Vinci, Tortured Soul and many more.

L.A Cerate have been on Adaptation previously with their 'Subconscious EP' and a remix of Demarkus Lewis' 'Had U First' which was the 50th release on the label. Both producers in their own right, with releases on the likes of Large Music and Dirt Crew, they combine and do one remix each of superbly produced late night deepness suitable for different occasions.
