Originally released in October 2004 as a remix of the german Hip Hop battle track Gegen Den Rest (Against The Rest) by FMK, Sbassship's version soon started a life of its own in the Electro scene. 

Using only a small segment from the original Hip Hop track's hook to feed the vintage Vocoder machine, the play- and powerful Electrofunk composition places the lyrics into a completely new melodic and rhythmic context.

A mega limited vinyl release and 10 years later, the track remains one of Sbassship's most popular productions.

This 10th anniversary re-release includes the re-mastered Main Mix and Scratch Mix featuring Optic Records' DJ Nicon on the turntables, as well as the Extended Mix from the 12" Vinyl, for the first time available in clear digital quality.

Polish-Silesian producer Karol Gwóźdź aka Nail joins the German label Dominance Electricity for a mystic 'Revelation'. The title track is an epic ten-minute Electro trip with biblical vocoderized lyrics in Polish language, driving broken beats and hypnotic melody loops. Followed by the slightly more energetic '1987', the release also features two ambient bonus pieces that highlight the beautiful synth work of the two songs. Essential for fans of classic Electro in the vein of Kraftwerk or Anthony Rother. 'Revelation / 1987' is now available in digital formats and as a limited edition 12-inch vinyl.

In aid of NHS Charities Together and Médecins Sans Frontières, Bass Agenda Recordings have put together a compilation with a whopping 128 tracks from some of the pioneering forces in electro and techno, as well as a wealth of exciting newcomers. After 100 releases on the label, Bass Agenda boss Andy had planned to take a break but as the pandemic worsened he felt impelled to do something tangible to help. With artists like Carl Finlow, Dez Williams and Radioactive Man involved, the compilation titled Carebots will be available in full on 15th May with four tracks up for grabs straight away.
