Glasgow-based producer and DJ born in ’99. Ryan owes his passion for music to his father and the rich music scene of the city. Brought up on an eclectic range from Motown and Scottish New Wave to Everything but the Girl and The Beach Boys, the young Glaswegian has always had an affinity with soul and sunshine. Beginning to produce at 17 was a natural progression from playing guitar and piano. 

MÔTUS is heavily influenced by any electronic music that has soul, emotion or makes you move uncontrollably and his current music draws from the recent lo-fi house movement, artists like Ross from Friends, to melodic techno styled Afterlife records. A truly wonderful up and coming talent with releases on Gents&Dandy’s Records and Soviett Records. MÔTUS isnt slowing down anytime soon with an EP and events label “Back2Basics” in the works.
