I like the note you ended the first chorus with, but I think I like the 2nd chorus melody the best, but the last chorus was so great too! The surprise change of style and adding horns was BRILLIANT! “Tattoo the Trigger” came from the confusion that follows a panic moment, when your body remembers something your mind hasn’t caught up to yet.
It’s about transforming fear into ownership. Turning what haunted me into art, so it could never control me again.
