[BIOGRAPHY]
nova.sephiroth is a post-industrial project founded 2007 in Aachen, Germany by Morindil Hrívanar.
It is hard to assign the project to a specific style. Even though techno-industrial and rhythm n noise structures dominate, various other influences from genres like: dark ambient, hardcore-industrial, power electronics, future pop and cyber-industrial are clearly audible. At this, hard and fast baselines (often enhanced with overdrive and delay effects) contrast with melodic synthesizermelodies. 
Usually audiosamples or spoken words are used to confide the songs’ major contents: drugs, escapism, insanity, social criticism or artificial intelligence / machines. Sung vocals are rarely used.

[NAME]
The name is not related to the dark ambient band Sephiroth, but refers to Sephiroth, a fictional character from the role-playing-game „Final Fantasy VII“ respectively the animation movie „Final Fantasy VII Advent Children“.

[FEAT & RMX]
Interaction with other artists without regard to genre conventions is one of Morindil’s primary intentions.
In addition to numerous one-time-features, two constant collaborations stand out.
On one hand GKN.S, a joint-project of nova.sephiroth and the power-noise/darkcore artist Geisteskranker and on the other hand, the co-operation with Tanzmob2000, a german electro hip-hop formation.
According to statements of the involved artists, further releases are planed in the future. 

[LIVE-GIGS]
Thus far nova.sephiroth is a mere studioproject.
The artist declared, that “no live gigs will be performed until they can be realized with adequate means by live musicians and a stageshow.”
