It's an emotional song about how life feels without him being physically here. He was one of the only people who saw my vision and believed in me before I even had anything to show for it. I have never opened up in my music about my childhood. I decided to share a small portion of what I've been through as a child and what I'm still dealing with as an adult. This song was a difficult for me to open up about but I know that someone who has been through a similar situation can relate and I hope that this can help them know they aren't alone.

All we could do was sit there and cry
Ignoring the pain but deep down I was screaming inside
I needed help
But my father wasn’t there I guess he was just too focused on his self
And now that I got older I’m just tryna focus on my mental health
And the only way to do that is to close this book & put it on the shelf
Close this chapter of my life cause it’s time to put that book back on the shelf
