Welcome to the fourth episode of this podcast series in which I have the pleasure of hosting a Scottish friend “Tony Scott a.k.a Edit Select”with whom I'm sharing some projects including the next Outis release  “Mnemosyne EP”
which will be released on 16/ 05/ 2014.
To lighten these days of waiting I was able to convince Tony to delight us with a mix and it seems that it has succeeded well with him.

The next guest of BASSIANI Podcast series is JP Enfant, Amsterdam based DJ, Producer, Promoter and Label Manager. This set, nearly an hour and half hours long was recorded at Bassiani. “Sultry, Dreamy, Warm, Stimulating, Sexy. That is what I want to bring across in my sets. Another great artist joined to our series. Joachim Spieth - DJ, producer and AFFIN owner - celebrates 10th anniversary of his label. On this occasion, he prepared for us a special podcast. What is more, our interview with this artist will be published on muno.pl next Monday [polish only].

BIO:

When writing a biography, there are certain things you can’t avoid, even though you know it has been said many times and you fear it will end up looking like any other biography, with the usual and righteous amount of name droppings. For instance, in order to write Joachim Spieth’s bio, I couldn’t avoid saying that he has released a numerous amount of records, on labels as renowned as Michael Mayer’s Kompakt. And that some of those releases, such as « Under pressure » have been and are still hits.
And I couldn’t possibly forget the label Affin he has successfully been running for about a decade, with dozens of releases added to its catalogue.I also had to mention that he has been involved in the electronic music scene for the past fifteen years; that he used to play in a band as a teenager.  I had to name some of the countries he played for: Australia, Denmark, France, Georgia, Iceland, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, Russia, South Africa, UK…
But that being said, what really matters at the end is who he is and what he wants to express by producing music. What he has been giving to the scene. Being a shy character, he is not the type of person searching for the spotlight but someone that is evolving on the scene by pure passion and wants to communicate this passion to the others. He created his label Affin to be as independent as possible and focus on his own vision, surrounded by artists sharing it with him.
What he does not put into words is translated into sounds. Deep, solemn and at times enraged, his productions represents Techno in its purest expression. They are made to occupy our dying cathedrals of concrete, to crush the reality of our everyday life under an assumed individuality. The elaborated basses and the echoing melodies grab our minds to throw them in a far away world, leaving the silence of a doomed society behind.

Submerged in both Djing and production, Fabrizio Lapiana started his career as a Dj back in 1994, influenced mainly by the early 90's sound of Rome and Detroit as well by the first european pioneers of electronic music.
In his DJ sets, Fabrizio makes a precise and intimate techno flow that seduces the dancefloor mixing new and old vinyls range from deep, intricate techno, through an acid and groovy darkness with some melodic gems along the way. 
With his label “Attic Music”, founded in 2008, Fabrizio grow up his sound combining deep aesthetics and techno grooves often allowing ambient or industrial elements. To remember also the strong collaboration with Max_M on his M_Rec 10'' series in 2014, that showed his most emotional view of techno.
His performances in Rome as well in some of the finest wordwide clubs are a way to offer his right vibrations in the techno scene in the last years: the energy created by Fabrizio's sets worth living!

And so it is: The Erratic Podcast turns 8 years with Episode 200 courtesy of an incredibly talented artist, KUF. Hailing from Sweden, he is part of Arsenik Records and has been releasing excellent techno for a number years. Most recently, at the end of 2018, he released a fantastic 7-tracker/mini-LP on Warm Up "Entitled 2 Nothing", receiving massive accolades and support. Two months into 2019, he has already released a 4-tracker on Arsenik, which is diverse and excellent; and a 5-tracker on Kimochi, this one leaning more towards minimal and ambient electronics. For this special contribution, Marcus has combined his wide palette of sounds and put together an exclusive hour showcasing his superlative analog skills.
