En esta grabación se puede apreciar un clima con mucho viento, ya estaba comenzando el otoño y lo que pudimos analizar es que habían muchas especies convergiendo en un ecosistema de humedales y pampa deprimida. "Camino de Las Flores" es uno de los dos últimos espacios verdes dentro del partido de Alte Brown. Conserva muestras de flora-fauna autóctonas y humedales. Tiene una superficie de 160 has, y se encuentra en el sector Oeste de la ciudad de Longchamps recalcando que está limitando con el Sector Industrial.

Logré capturar junto con mi grabadora y mis micrófonos binaurales el sonido de las Tucuras platenses (Laplatacris dispar) en pleno atardecer, despidiendo la Reserva Ecológica con alegría y entusiasmo, el poder conocer como actúa y se comunican las especies a esta hora del día, en especial las tucuras que si bien no se han podido registrar sonidos de esta especie y tampoco se ha podido apreciar con detalle si estridulan o cómo emiten estos sonidos. Pronto estaremos estudiándolas con más atención y poder comprender un poco que nos están tratando de comunicar.

Cette suite en cinq tableaux, aussi divers que les territoires qu’ils évoquent, est une immersion dans les sons de Arica, une ville chilienne si-tuée aux confins du Pérou et de la Bolivie, au cœur du désert d’Atacama. Successivement, une promenade le long de la zone côtière, les ambiances et voix d’une gare routière internationale, un marché agricole, une zone humide en péril, et les friches d’une gare ferroviaire inoccupée. 

Diego Véliz s’est formé au cinéma documentaire au Chili, à Cuba et en Espagne. Il est l’auteur des courts métrages projetés dans plus de 40 festivals. Il vit et travaille dans la région tri-frontalière du Chili, du Pérou et de la Bolivie, où il développe des projets artistiques avec sa société de production Candelabro Films. "Sound Desert" est son premier projet d’art sonore.

We talked about Israel's professed goal to wipe out Hamas in the Gaza strip and what Israel intends to do with the territory and its population after the end of Operation Iron Swords. We also discussed how seriously to take the statements of Western governments who profess to support a viable Palestinian state alongside Israel, and we spoke about how liberal Zionism is a phenomenon that exists more in the minds of western policy makers, and liberal journalists, than it does in Israel itself.
