Set played on a blissfull morning of Guru Purnima in july in Bali.
Guru means teacher, Purnima - is fullmoon 
Bowing down to all the teachers in our lives.. Giving thanks to our parents, people we meet in our lives, to  the keepers of great wisdom of our ancestors, plant medicines, traditions, kriyas, practices.. so we can find the way back home - into our hearts.

Is always a  blessing to be at home, to drink the water of my land, feel the warm of the father sun, smell the early winter solstice, to see the wind dancing,  to whisper to the Apus and give thanks for life, Always a blessing.

We followed it — not knowing where it led, only that it moved like memory through bone, like breath across ancient sand.
It twisted through dust and drum, through trance and tension, collecting fragments of rhythm left behind by those who inspired before us.

Into a Deeper Dimension with Steffen Ki | Chapter 042

Clandestina's first official gig in the USA had the supreme honor to be hosted by Ecstatic Dance in Oakland (sunday morning session!), considered one of the orginal incubators of the Ecstatic Dance experience worldwide!

The Dance of Resilience starts slow and introspective to then grow into an irresistible tide bringing joy, release, enthusiasm and finally solace and nurturance. Its intention is to build the inner resilience we need in these crazy times of urgency and emergency. ECSTATIC DANCE OAKLAND - The Dance Of Resilience

I usually play music which is softer and slower than other ecstatic dance DJs.
But for a while now I gathered some fast intense tracks that I really like, and i was yearning to bring more sacred intensity to the dance floor.

So here is a DJ set I played live at Jarans, Koh PhaNgan, which is a musical, emotional and geographical journey that includes Ayahuasca medicine songs, Sufi, Jewish and Indian spiritual chants, Ethnic folk music, electronic music, all the way to tribal techno with devotional African elements.

I knew that the audience in this venue is used to electronic music but after some deliberation, I chose to include many melodic and organic tracks, and specifically a 7 minute classical indian piece by Anoushka Shankar, played with Sitar and other organic instruments, which, for me, embodies the spirit of Ecstatic Dance.
Many people didn't dance to this piece, but the ones who did, really enjoyed it. Find it at 58:00 if you're curious.

This journey also includes a new track I produced - a mashup between 
Abrete Corazon ft. Claudia Stern (The Bassment remix), and Tripulante by Lum.

I was scheduled to play at Pyramid yoga, Koh PhaNgan, the tropical island where i've been living for over a decade.

Due to the covid situation, we moved it online.

It was a great experience to create a 3 hour Ecstatic Dance journey for people to play and dance at home.

I'm trying to turn music into my livelihood, and covid situation doesn't help...

To me if there was a hierarchy to god
 n path of godliness ,though there is none, 
yet we needed here one. 
Then divine Musicians stood the highest , 
for they gave me experience of godliness
 flow through my very veins, in flesh n blood, 
that i stopped seeking in images, and knew 
life itself was the creator 
and all its creative force.
Guru then gave the wisdom 
that you can ,then process ,to make your own.
not borrowed ideas of some. 
And together when it fell in place 
all veils then shatter ,making you the very god 
that you never had forgot, 
thus raising the musician evn higher 
for they made it a possibility without even knowing.
