Tritonal are back in action with the first glimpse of their forthcoming fifth artist album, Coalesce, out on September 8th.

Formed in Texas in 2008, the duo of Chad and Dave have been one of the most prolific acts of the electronic dance music scene for over a decade. They gained a global fanbase thanks to their unique blend of progressive and trance, combining the classic sounds of their influences like Above & Beyond and Armin van Buuren with a sleek, polished production style. They went on in the 2010's to branch out and take one wider influences within dance music, releasing three albums during the decade with 2011's 'Piercing The Quiet' becoming a beloved fan favorite.

Tritonal have had an exceptional start to the 2020's after their tour plans for that year were put on hold by the Covid-19 pandemic. They released a flurry of impressive singles throughout the year that saw them return to their musical roots exploring progressive & trance with a reinvigorated intensity. 2021 saw them expand their horizons with the release of their fourth artist album 'Reverence', a meditation album which they crafted as a means of finding peace within themselves and spreading that peace to their fans during a tumultuous year.

Crisp and distorted high frequencies are the opening elements of Markus Mehta's newest outing "Wake Up". The track marks the first release on Markus' brand new imprint Mehta Audio - a playground for his own musical adventures and beyond. "Wake Up" continues on with an expansive, sub-heavy bassline that was designed to rip apart club and festival dance floors. Other components of this composition include tripped-out, synthesized melodic fragments and choppy vocal chunks. 

The track was exclusively sent to Richie Hawtin in the beginning of the summer 2022 for a special performance of his at the "Proof Of People NFT Festival" at Fabric in London. The performance featured unreleased tracks only. After that, "Wake Up" hasn't left Hawtin's rotation all season long. He has been rocking it at Il Muretto (Jesolo), Nitsa (Barcelona), Dreambeach Festival (Almeria) and beyond.

Anthony Castaldo returns to Unrilis with a new four track EP of stomping techno tracks in the same style he has released on Drumcode, AnalyticTrail, Odd Recordings and Intec.

Currently living in London but originally from Italy, Anthony Castaldo has been a part of the Napoli based techno movement that has become prevalent in recent times.

A regular DJ performer at leading London venues such as EGG, he also plays regular sets in other parts of Europe and his own tracks have picked up support from influential spinners such as Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, Enrico Sangiuliano and Luigi Madonna.

'Take My Body' opens the EP with acid pulses and stripped back atmosphere, before lifting the intensity with the thundering kick drum and ferocious lead synth of 'Behind Your Eyes'. Featuring Jessica Zese, 'Ephemeral' has a haunting vocal sung over eerie atmosphere and thumping percussion perfect for the dance floor. Closing the EP is 'Changes Intro' which ramps up the tension with an arpeggiated lead synth perfect for opening a DJ set.
