The pair have been smashing it with releases recently and for us at Distorted it was a no brainer – we had to get them Involved! The Obsidian EP has been in the works for a while and contains a beautiful blend of both drum and bass and 140, so what’s not to love?  The 2 DnB tracks have the perfect balance of quick drums and gritty basses. The title track – Obsidian – is the lad’s first 140 project and encapsulates perfectly the deep, dark and dirty vibe that they consistently deliver.

Faeon AKA Lewis Beaven discovered D&B whilst serving in the navy. After realising that drum and bass was his real passion, he left to persue a career in dj’ing and producing the mighty genre. His early influences came from jump up from the likes of Hazard and Annix, before later discovering neurofunk and all things darker. Faeon’s favourite labels are Critical, Vision and Virus and you can really hear how his love of this darker, rolling side comes through in both his sets and releases.

He’s been producing for 3 years now with the first releases on OSCITY a few years back, then Rawsynth and most recently Rawdio Recordings with the EP Submarines. Lewis’s biggest set to date was headlining room 2 at the Oxford 02 Academy with none other than the executioner himself playing downstairs. Expect big things.
