She kept wondering
what might have happened
to that ring she used to wear.
She can still feel its tightness
when tracing the bone in her finger.

There had been some other life,
one she cannot remember.
Traces it of it surround her
like finds on an archeological dig.
She sometimes receives calls from strangers.

The other day, she must have held
a tiny, breathing something in her arm,
caressing it with affection.
Was it a kitten? She cannot detect
any litter in her home.

Right now, she can't help counting
down the letters in the alphabet.
Nothing adds up. Therefore, the fault
lies either in the faultlines between the numbers
and the letters or it is
her turn to vanish.

this is the first mix of a song created in summer 2018.
it took me less than an hour to get to this result. unfortunately it is not possible for me at the moment to recover part of the sounds that I found due to the breakdown of my old mac. initially born on guitar I transposed it for synth etc .. after creating it I had a nervous breakdown .. and I am no longer able listening it for months .. for me it was like opening a secret door that revealed things that for some time I have deliberately ignored .. but I couldn't pretend anymore. an inner change was beginning to make its way, and it took away certainties that until then seemed solid rock. an irreversible but necessary process.
