Olivier Noël, aka "n o x V Λ n d e r s", is a Franco-Cameroonian DJ and producer who has explored various musical genres since the 90s. He took his first steps in Switzerland, in Basel, under the name "Blackangel", where he made crowds vibrate during wild raves, particularly in abandoned factories of the Swiss food company "Le Bell."

In the 2000s, he moved towards more accessible sounds, exploring electro house under the alias "DJ Coolfun", not hesitating to flirt with what he himself calls "commercial soup." Three of his sets from that time can still be heard on SoundCloud (@dj-coolfun) and on edeejay.com (www.edeejay.com/profile-125718/video/).

But it was in 2012 that he fully immersed himself in the depths of progressive trance, refining his approach to mesmerizing sounds.

In 2015, Olivier made a radical shift towards drumstep under the alias "Skyloox" and dubstep by changing his alias to "OnBass 1978", mastering powerful drops and shattering rhythms. During this period, he left an indelible mark in Lorraine, mixing for various events and radio stations, including the iconic Radio-Déclic FM in Moselle. His explosive sets from that time can still be listened to on Mixcloud (www.mixcloud.com/OnBass/).

Always seeking evolution, Olivier returned to trance in 2020 under the alias "Oliver Chrisma5" (www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFzQr9gGdFQ), before diving headfirst, in 2024, into the retro-futuristic sounds of Synthwave, Vaporwave, and Chillwave.

Today, under the identity of "n o x V Λ n d e r s", he explores linear and mesmerizing soundscapes, blending melodies that are sometimes dark, sometimes bright. While respecting the unique codes of Synthwave, he allows himself to venture into other genres, notably dub and electro, while staying true to his vaporous and melodious atmospheres. Each production is an invitation to travel through time and space, a true musical journey back to the future.

His inspirations draw from the work of artists such as Daft Punk, Skrillex, Tiesto, Deadmau5, DJ Snake, Seven Lions, and Kavinsky. Additionally, he draws from pioneers of electronic music like Tangerine Dream, Jean-Michel Jarre, and Vangelis, as well as modern Synthwave and Vaporwave artists such as The Midnight, Mitch Murder, Timecop1983, and Com Truise.

I make music using Udio AI. I do electronic instrumentals in various subgenres, such as synthwave, chillwave, chillsynth, synthpop, and EDM. A lot of my songs tend to have dynamic highs and lows, but sometimes they're totally chilled out.
