The Icarus project combines dark ambient themes with harsh noise and industrial, ritualistic soundscapes.

The project springs from the mind of Giuseppe D'Addurno, a Berlin-based Italian multimedia artist who creates alchemical performances and re-enacts magical rites on stage.

 In his dystopian vision, the suburbs of cities and the quiet countryside are permeated by a silent darkness, a quiet restlessness and a black silence.

This set was recorded at Fête de la musique on Saturday 21.06 at Astralia-Luft in Astral Junction Berlin.
