I knew what I was doing, I was going to Burning Man; but what I did not know was just how I’d assimilate and react to all the data, images, sounds, smells ... what would become of my ex-asthmatic anxieties and the difficulties of living in this kind of environment: dust, dust, and more dust!!  

In Black Rock City you'll find all the good and all the evil of this world, the only thing that changes is how you take it in, because here the available tools of art and provocation operate differently ... so why not the music too?

Whatever one may think, there is still a comfort zone in Black Rock City. It’s about attitude: it’s always with a given attitude that you do something to then obtain a determined result, break the routine, open up to something new, not appearance at all costs, just letting everything happen because it has to happen. Running the other way in a dark hostile but magical place like this with a voice that says, "I'm not afraid, I'm here now!” the same voice you hear when you're sitting all alone in front of the pyramid of Cheope, its outline standing out majestically in the dark ... far from comforting places. 

I saw some friends collapse because, inevitably, if you let something get to you here that something will change you. I believe that these people will come away with a greater awareness. There is no magic to Burning Man: there are those who listen and those who continue to sit in their comfort zone, the same as those who from home point fingers with their two bit sarcasm.

The moment when the Man burns is certainly one of the most contemporary and modern tribal experiences I've ever witnessed, it’s like being at the centre of a big blockbuster; but where the characters are no longer Ben Hur or gladiators!

On the Monday 70,000 people left Black Rock City and on the ground there wasn’t even a crumb .. only the footprints of those who had been there, which the wind will take care to remove all traces of.
Thanks to everyone who made this experience so special. Thanks Jan, Anton, Amanda, Eduardo, Michelly, Tara, Chris, Reagan, Martinik, Susan, Rachel, Jonathan, Laura, Benjamin, Jason,  Andrew, Ko, Behrouz, Eugenia,  all the people with whom I had a conversation, and of course Brian Eno and Peter Gabriel! Danila, Rita and all my family.

Voodoo Corporation comes from the hand of Antonio Canca and Andres N, a duo of DJs and producers from Madrid with a long musical career. His passion began 13 years ago in which his musical and professional maturity have been formed in a clear and explicit way, starting from the influence of the best years of the Madrid electronic music scene where along the years they have managed to take, mold and adapt to their musical convictions. The musical culture and the search for new sonic frontiers are one of their badges.
In 2002 they created the group “La Buhardilla Sound System”, which leads them to promote numerous raves and festivals Madrid as well as to collaborate with other influential musical groups in the underground electronic music. Collaborations and electronic festivals go on for years, assimilating in the meanwhile all the musical content.

After passing through several of the best clubs in Madrid, and thanks to his success and his shamelessness to bring new musical trends, in 2008 they begin a new project named ENEMC (National Contemporary Music Ensemble) in which they opt for merging electronic and classical musical live, having a great acceptance by the public. In 2009 they become part of the staff of LIFE IS MUSIC, a company producer of electronic music events. Usual residents of their festivals, they create direct lives with contemporary and classical musicians, as well as repeating collaborations with the percussionist Javi Santos, creating fresh and vibrant sets where they shake the dance floor, increasing the heart rate of all attendees.

In late 2009, they publish their first productions as Voodoo Corporation at Selected Records where they continue taking their works, obtaining a very good welcome on the public and thanked by music experts for their risky interpretation and exquisite results.
In late 2013 they sign by the prestigious London label Alola Records, headed by Omid 16B, where are currently working in diverse works and collaborations.
In early 2013 they start working with Willy Debeat (Dj, producer and radio announcer), a tireless music lover with an exquisite musical taste, forming together Cannibal Ink, where the most innovative and experimental sense of each are united to meet the common musical interests.
Now they are working for diferents labels, like Rotten City Records, Melomana Records, Fusta Records, Malo Records and Nein Records.
The adaptability to the public and the awareness that this is the real protagonist of music do them create and maintain the proper environment whatever the audience, being one of the keys to its success the ability to reacting to the public.

Kaboom! The weekend is upon us so we want to bluster right in with a big mix to break down the week, brick by brick. We arranged just the perfect artist to take care of that: Velax (@iamvelax). Velax has a thing for dark, slow, and big sounds. Similar to us he went down the rabbit hole that’s called dark disco. The result is a mix with just over an hour of mayhem, perfect to end the Friday, enjoy!
