Kalifornia Dreamin - Jean Claude Gavri Re Edit

Melodic, experimental folk three-piece consisting of one songsmith (F), one sound-painter (O) and one conceptual artist (A). All three of them live and work in Malmö, Sweden and create music in a secluded 19th-century garden shack. Some people call their music surreal. A lot of people call the music soothing. Almost everyone says it makes them think of trees.
The band returns April 12th with their third full length album, Flora. Recorded in their ramshackle garden studio, Flora marks a departure from the wintry moods of the band's first two outings as according to Fredrik, flower season is anything but limonades and hammocks. The music paints a vision of summer as the darkness beneath, a busy, feverish, sprawling organic chaos. The three members build songs from dense, wavering textures of voice, strings, brass and twinkly home-made folk instruments, all couched on top of a smattering of haywire orchestral drums and swirly electronics.

FENSTER, a duo of New Yorker-turned-Berliner JJ Weihl and Berlin-born Jonathan Jarzyna, that plays de-constructed pop music, layering subtle distortions, melodic chords and city soundscapes under dream narratives. Their sound and recording style has analog warmth, exploring the relationship between machine errors in their circuit bended beats and the tactile use of objects and instrumentation. Their influences range from the Velvet Underground to, the sounds of broken records, the hum of a washing machine, or the faint melodies of oldies tunes through their kitchen radio, at times, reminding you of an American version of The XX.

The second one to follow our call of duty is the Hamburg-based Joney who is closely associated to the hanseatic events / crews named Eat The Beat and Ill both still gaining momentum with their involvement in any kind of underground activities seen as quality seal by many of the cities punters. His tune „Elbillharmonie“ starts out on a dry, electroid 4/4 vibe but soon evolves into an epic, chord-driven (Neo)Trance vs. TechHouse banger with sparse but in-time distortion attacks and surprising stops turning into huge brow-rising breakdowns spreading love and joy amongst everyone that's down on the floor and ready for a good time to be had in the club

When Saints Go Machine released their sophomore album, <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/infinity-pool/id627437295" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Infinity Pool</a> 

It’s an album born out of an atmosphere of chaos, showing the band -- Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild (vocals), Jonas Kenton (keyboard), Simon Muschinsky (keyboards), and Silas Moldenhawer (drums) -- operating outside of their comfort zone, an approach leading to great results for this four-piece from Copenhagen. As with debut album, Konkylie, most of the productions consist of layers built upon layers in each song, however, with Infinity Pool, they aimed to make each layer sound immediate and simple resulting in a harder, darker, slower and more synthetic feel. Regardless of approach and environment, Infinity Pool still retains that signature When Saints Go Machine longing feeling, the glue that holds the album together. &#13;

Following Infinity Pool’s first single “Love and Respect” feat. Killer Mike, the band is sharing a remix of the albums second single  “Iodine” by fellow Danish producer Hankat.&#13;
&#13;
Hankat brings a deeper flavour to Iodine, laying the vocals effortlessly over a sped-up house groove creating a somewhat dreamlike club track. The bassline drives the mix under crisp hi-hats and floating pads, coupled with the airy vocals, resulting in that unmistakeably atmospheric sound the Hankat is widely known for. &#13;
