"Marco Zorano uses racy passages to guide you through his own beat accentuated
sound in a classic 4/4 time. Starting with small projects under different names (Cliff
Law and Seiiza), he made his first experiments in the studio. This sound has a
consistently high degree of recognition which is clearly and uniquely positioned in
the genres Techhouse and Deephouse. The drum based, very deep sounding and
rhythmically propulsive beat in his sets have already made many a heart beat faster.

Passion, enthusiasm and intensity homogenize in his projects. This healthy art of
perfectionism is also demonstrated at his live gigs. He plays timeless DJ sets and
guides his audience through the night on a wave of musical rhythm pleasure.

Since 2010 he has been producing in association with De La Maso as well as Dexxis,
and together they bring their beats into the clubs.

I was born in 1971 on a planet whose name I have already forgotten several years ago.
Shortly after that in my teens I played guitar and bass in bad but loud punk bands. At some point I also sang in a band but that was an experiment :D.
When I was 20 I started to produce my own songs and little radio plays with the help of a 4 track tape recorder, a small hardware sequencer, a guitar and the worst microphone that was available at that time.
I stopped doing that at some point, partly out of frustration with the limited technical possibilities I could afford and partly because I didn't know what to do with it ... that was before the internet :)

My second release one year later was not completely done on the smartphone, I got a Macbook.

Since then I studied audio engineering at the S.A.E. in Stuttgart for two years, working part-time at a local radio station as a lecturer for the digital editing suite and pre-production.
Now in my Pro Tools based Studio I have rather too much than too little equipment and work on future releases, creating a lot of instrumental music that I don't want to use for myself and that I would love to make available and adapt for films etc.

Electronica, Electro House, Breaks, Midtempo. It’s partially melodic, mysterious, cheeky or funky. Burnt is rendering 110 – 165 BPM with his sound. He has played his sets in big clubs in Germany like Douala (Ravensburg), What?(Berlin), Schwarzes Schaf (Augsburg), Kesselhaus (Augburg), Turncable (Thannhausen), Röhre (Stuttgart), Chateu Knarz (Ulm) etc and parties around Europe like Bassplanet in Poland. Not only the sound he plays makes people go crazy but especially his love to become part of the crowd while dancing and partying with his guests. He is constantly pushing the crowd with his bright smile and dance moves.
With Artists like Marten Hörger, Lady Waks, Aquasky, Deekline, Peo de Pitte, Tim Healey, Leeroy Thornhill and a lot more he shared the decks on his own parties (CheekyBeatz and Cut and Run). The last step of party in 2013 was “Apart”, a recidency with Marten Hörger. Six times they played as recident Djs in the Club Frau Berger in Ulm. 2012 Burnt published his first release on Dirty Funk Records and placed his track in the top 100 on Beatport charts. 2013 he grounded his own label Cheeky Beatz Records which provides Electro House, Breaks and more electronica in different genres. 2014 you will find releases on RiotRiot Records, Cheeky Beatz Records, On The Rise Music and free Remixes and Mixtapes on www.soundcloud.com/burnt.
