- An earthen century ago, our Dear Leader tried to take a hold of the Earth, sensing it as a just payment for their first sin._
- And during the conflict, us Starmen were tasked into erecting enlarged, circular monoliths of giant stone._
- Much like the one you must have seen when you first stumbled into here. | >

- So that, even if It were to fail then, the failure would've only made It's next attempt even stronger.

- Even with seemingly just one monolith remaining, it was enough to complete It's mission. | >

- As for our present, we seemed to be in better luck._
- Our patrol in this underground led us to finding the aforementioned structure._
- We thought this was another one of our monoliths. So we built around it in hopes to preserve and protect it. | >

- The monolith... even after multiple attempts of kickstarting them, it still has not activated. Even after the erection of our base. | >
- It makes me question the status of It. And whatever could have possibly happened to It while I was missing. | >
- Some of our units deriving from an earlier time report of a sudden and abrupt disconnect to Leader, almost as if It was imprisoned. | >
- But the fact that It has still been unable to contact us makes me think that It's fate was much more intense.
