Papa Kuma, affectionately known as Gangsta-Papa, is a Vancouver-based DJ and producer who brings a distinctive energy and depth to the electronic music scene. Specializing in Deep Progressive House, Papa Kuma’s sound blends hypnotic grooves, emotional storytelling, and a journey-driven flow that keeps audiences engaged from start to finish.

Since rekindling his music career in 2023, Papa Kuma has been captivating listeners with live sets on Twitch, YouTube mixes, and performances at events like Tandava. With an evolving repertoire that spans Ambient, Dub Techno, Progressive Psy, and Raw Hypnotic Techno, his sets are a testament to his versatility and passion for sonic exploration.

Drawing from decades of musical experience and a love for the transformative power of the dance floor, Papa Kuma crafts sets that resonate deeply, taking audiences on a journey that is both unique and powerful. His live performance at Tandava, in November 2024, earned high praise for its progressive, acid-infused journey and heartfelt connection with the crowd.

Grafik began his DJ journey in 2020 during a period of restrictions, when friends offered him the opportunity to showcase his talent and passion at underground events. Since then, his love for techno has deepened, becoming a way for him to tell stories. In his sets, he combines hypnotic, repetitive rhythms with atmospheric deep drones, creating immersive experiences for listeners.

Since 2022, he has been collaborating with his close friend Efectiv on the project CTRL ART DEL, where they jointly create unique techno events and explore new sonic landscapes with visual experiences. Simultaneously, he is fully diving into producing his own music.

As a member of the Fúze team, he is part of a significant alliance of techno collectives who together contribute to the rich Czech techno scene.
