Folding the ambient techno tradition into neatly arranged packets of rhythm and space, Delsin proudly presents a striking new collaboration from Tobias. and Doltz. A project developed from a chance encounter, Versus combines classic synth and drum machine configurations with needlepoint sound design to create a quintessential electronica listening experience.

Tobias. is the lead alias from Tobias Freund (@tobias-freund), the celebrated German techno pioneer who has been actively exploring new territories in electronic music production since the early 1980s. As Doltz (@doltzdeep), Shun Watanabe has quickly developed his own impressive artistic stamp in the field of leftfield techno and ambient since debuting in 2020. After seeing Doltz perform a live set at Eden Festival 2024 in Japan, Freund instantly invited him to collaborate. After the success of the first collaboration, they went on to develop five of the tracks on Versus together, while Jiawen Wang performed additional vocals on 'We Are Not Alone'.

Versus is an album that balances variety and consistency across its finely sequenced run time, maintaining a focus on pointillist, exploratory rhythm from crisp drum machines and twitchy digitalia alike, all backed up by richly rendered atmospherics from gaseous pads to icy drones. It's a warm and inviting sound world, but also fearlessly futuristic, speaking to both Freund's decades of refinement and the startling clarity of Doltz's vision.

ACCENTAPE returns with its ninth release, continuing the series’ mission to connect artistic worlds through sound—sometimes by highlighting similarities, other times by leaning into contrast. This time, it’s a meeting in the middle. ACCENTAPE009 is a delicate convergence of tones, textures, and moods—chromatic, soft-edged, and deeply felt. The release pairs London-based Avsluta—known for her organic, atmospheric productions and deeply curated selections behind the decks—with Parisian producer and visual artist Adhémar, whose work channels color and form into weightless, meditative sound. Together, they offer a slow-blooming album that feels perfectly in tune with the season’s quiet shifts: tender light, budding branches, and long, patient days.

Our premiere today is “Black Mamba”—a track that doesn’t bite, but glides. It opens with a haunting spoken-word passage, almost ceremonial in tone, a whisper of myth and power that gradually dissolves into an airy ambient wash. The stillness stretches and morphs, giving way to a restrained tribal rhythm that pulses beneath the surface, guiding the track forward with hypnotic subtlety. Just when it seems to vanish into the ether, melancholic strings emerge, soft but striking—another layer of identity for the Black Mamba, both queenly and ghostlike. It’s a slow spell, not a strike.

PREMIERE: Avsluta - Black Mamba [Accents Records]

@lilipop-376108596 is a 23-year-old French-British artist based in Paris. Co-founder of the @alarma-278392420 collective, he throws radiant parties across the city with a team that knows exactly what it’s doing. He’s been diving into techno and its many branches for the past four years.

Words, he says, fall short when it comes to music. For him, DJ sets should feel like stories—like little journeys. His sound blends dark, saturated tones with bursts of brightness and that hint of a smile hiding in a track.

lilipop likes to call what he plays “Multitech,” a broad, hybrid mix touching on experimental, break, minimal… always with that bouncy, acidic, crunchy twist.

Run by @werfol, the “delirium” show is dedicated to unearthing unique outsider artists who craft their own music or curate events across the globe. These hidden gems often slip under the radar of mainstream audiences. Werfol’s mission is to seek out these innovators and invite them to create a mix that showcases their distinct artistic vision.

@VonParty and @DreemsDreems are the dynamic duo behind international label @MultiCulti. It was back in 2013 that Montreal’s Von Party (who is also A&R for his brother Tiga’s Turbo Records and recently revealed that his name should be pronounced FUN PARTY - ideally in a German accent) teamed up with the Sydney producer and self-proclaimed Cosmic Sherpa known as Dreems. Proud of their roster of artists making “pan-globo-sexual soulstyle for our times”, the twosome are purveyors of music to dance to, music to trip to, and music to mediate to. 

Serial makers of sleep time soundtracks, we called on the label heads to put together a mix that’ll guide listeners to a peaceful slumber. Featuring music from Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, and the lesser known Dolphins Into The Future, it’s smooth, soothing and we’re planning to fall asleep to it tonight. Great dreams guaranteed.

I was ling in for this session, recorded live at the @multiculti headquarters in Berlin, and can attest to its vital powers in producing hallucinogenic observations and out-of-body experiences.
