Hungry Music has the kind of waterproof musical aesthetic that not many labels with under twenty releases under their belt have. The output is bold and atmospheric at same time. Travels through misty soundscapes are just one of their trademarks. The french label established its sound through a close circle of friends - namely, Worakls, N’to & Joachim Pastor.

It’s now time to let some of the most powerful recent releases get re-interpreted through six exclusive remixes.

The Hungry gang took on each others work and also invited luminaries and friends of the label such as Oliver Koletzki, Einmusik and Boris Brejcha to provide a mix for the first in a series of upcoming remix EPs.

N’to is finally back with a brand new release on Hungry Music and his mission is to wave an exciting summer season goodbye in perfect style. His latest two-track endeavor features handcrafted sounds and lush grooves. 

La Clé Des Champs is an arpeggiated excursion into N’to’s world of deep frequencies and mesmerizing pads. Crisp hi-hat patterns gently provide the energy, while thick moog-ish melodies set the vibe.

The laid back, charismatic In The Mood For Noune composition is the perfect soundtrack for a late summer evening. Built around a slow jamming groove and funky shakers, the earthy tones dance wonderfully alongside the sparkling & heartfelt keys.

Joachim Pastor is back with yet another slice of essential electronic music magic. This time, after a crazy summer schedule of playing many wonderful, sold out shows, Joachim returns to his musical playground Hungry Music.

“Mountain” is the outstanding track he serves up, and it is a distinctive endeavour with gliding and slithery synths marching heavily alongside a floating groove. The drums are subtle and precise. Organ sounds are glued into the the arrangement to increase the intensity. The piece builds and morphs as it unfolds and locks you in over the course of a seven minute Hungry Music delight.

Our label boss delivers us one brand new track "Live It".
You probably already listened it in his live for Cercle.
With "Live It", Teho made his typical style but still with genius, a melodic techno tittle with beautiful harmonies, main theme arpeggiated and surrounded by his floating ukulele. Dreamy and dancefloored music at the same time. This is a very unique tittle, a new face of the music variety of Teho.

The story behind NTO started with a match made in heaven, a kid from the South of France always hooked to his guitar, and electronic and dance music. After going to the Sziget Festival when he was 18, NTO started to hang out regularly at La Villa Rouge, and Bar Live, two legendary clubs in the South of France. At the time, German minimal techno music was booming and Anthony Favier would spend his nights listening to Stephan Bodzin, James Holden, or the very beginnings of Paul Kalkbrenner: "My biggest music crush of all time”. The evocative power of music, strong kicks and the unifying atmosphere of dancefloors: this is the triple focus that will inspire him to create and produce music without going through the usually mandatory DJ phase.

The story behind NTO is also about his friendship with Worakls and Joachim Pastor, with whom he created Hungry Music in 2013. Performing together on the Olympia’s stage to the Vieilles Charrues Festival, they learned to master the stage, and seduced a new generation that would follow them faithfully from this moment on. Thanks to his hits "Trauma" and "La clé des champs", which account for several millions of streams on DSPs, NTO's career took off internationally: from The Netherlands, to Germany, to Eastern Europe to Canada...  

Today, NTO is about to start a new chapter of his career. With deep basses and lysergic harmonies, he filters different layers of his melodies to make them sparkle even more, just as if they emerged from the water after hitting rock bottom. NTO is currently working on his first album.
